Weeks maintains one of the largest inventories of marine related construction equipment in the United States. The floating equipment includes crane barges with capacities to 350 tons, deck barges measuring up to 250'x 75', as well as tugboats up to 4,200 horsepower. Having amassed such a sizeable and varied equipment inventory has enhanced Weeks' ability to perform virtually any type of marine construction project.

Our overall marine construction capability is further strengthened by the other Weeks Marine divisions - Dredging, Marine Transportation, Heavy Lift and Salvage, and Stevedoring. Each Division has the ability to call upon the expertise of the other(s) to ensure that Weeks can fully respond, with in-house personnel and equipment, to most any type of marine construction project, large or small. In Canada the operations of Industra Service Corporation, Industra Thermal Service and Alexander Fireproofing became Lockerbie Industra Inc, and Industra Thermal Inc. Both of these companies are part of the Lockerbie-Hole group. In the United States, the consulting, engineering and construction manager services of Industra, Inc. became Industra Engineering & Consultants, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of BE&K.
