    AMGECO has earned international repute amongst various navies as well. The yard has the facility for a helicopter landing in order to carry out emergency repairs to mobile machinery and equipment which can be airlifted to the yard. The company used to carry out work for the British Royal Navy when a pump was flown in for emergency repairs and HMS Meon slipped at the yard. The French Navy has used the services of the yard when FNS Albatros was in the dry dock in 1988 and 1989. The company is also authorised to carry out repairs for the Kenya Navy vessels and has had the opportunity to be of service to the Tanzania Navy. AMGECO had also qualified to be registered under the US Navy in Bahrain program "Master Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels (MARAV) certification."   • Darell Bentz founded Bentz Boats in 1972 in Lewiston, Idaho to supply other outfitters who wanted boats like he had built for Intermountain Excursions, his outfitting business. The Salmon River and Snake Rivers of Idaho have always presented unique challenges for powered boats. The hundreds of miles of navigable water, wildly fluctuating water flows, and vast stretches of river located far from road access require rugged, reliable, powerful, and responsive boats with larger than normal fuel capacities and low maintenance requirements.     By 1996, Bentz Boats had outgrown their original facility on Bryden Avenue in Lewiston. With the end of the Cold War and the downsizing of the U.S. military, it was determined that the Charleston Naval Yard and Navy Base were no longer needed to support a smaller Navy. The Navy withdrew its ships and crew and turned the base over to the CNCRA (Charleston Naval Complex Redevelopment Authority) who was tasked with finding productive commercial and public usage for the base.   • With its modern Kevlar composite hull design, composed of multiple layers of Kevlar over a linear foam core, the Harley SES has a hull that is light, buoyant and yet is 10 times stronger than fiberglass. A hull design that provides a shallow draft, less than 3 feet at idle and only 12 inches at cruise for a 90-foot, 150-passenger boat. The Harley SES supports 85% of the boats' weight on twin pressurized cushions of air. With that much of the mass no longer being pushed through the water the wake is dramatically reduced; to less than 12 inches at 60 Knots. With 85% of the boats' weight riding on the air cushion, surface piercing drives and conventional diesel engines, fuel savings of up to 70% are possible. As well as a tremendous increase in speed, cruising speeds of 60+ Knots will be common.

A major feature of Incat's Technical & After Sales Support unit, which was established in 1999, is the appropriately named VISIT, or Vessel Information Systems Interactive Telemetry. VISIT is a diagnostic service tool that allows Incat to save ship operators considerable time and many thousands of dollars each year by updating existing operational programs within minutes and analysing computer data from Incat's shipyards in Hobart. It allows Incat's main computer to "visit" the ships computer whilst in the vessel's region of operation, allowing technicians to communicate with the operator without physically having to travel to the vessels geographic location.

Our machine shop is equipped with lathes, milling machine, drill press, steel rolling machine, metal cutting machines, diesel & electric ARC welding machines, coil baking oven, compressors etc. INREPSA has facilities for rewinding any size DC/AC electric motors and generators. Main engine and auxiliary generator repairs performed alongside repair berth or at anchorage. All types of welding work including deck, hull shell plating internals, steel structures and tanks.   • Shipbuilding in Klaipeda began in the 16th century and grew rapidly. However, this did not meet with the favour of the port cities of Karaliaucius and the Duchy of Prussia, and in 1580, the Duke banned the building of large vessels in Klaipeda. This ban was renewed several times, and as a result, real growth in the shipbuilding industry only began again in the second half of the 18th century. Steel vessel building was begun by Paul Willy Lindenau, who established a shipbuilding company here in 1919. The company, called Machine Factory and Foundry, was active in a number of other spheres too: besides building equipment for vessels, it even manufactured military aircraft in 1924-25, and was active in coach building, reservoir production, etc. When the city was occupied by the Soviet army in 1945, the company buildings were all blown up. It is made of granite and concrete. The dry dock entrance enclosure is a caisson. The facility has main and auxiliary cranes capable of max lift of 50 long tons and 15 long tons as well as whip type cranes for 5 long tons. There are 35 feet of water alongside the East Side of Pier 5. Ship moorings for 800 foot long ships are fitted on Pier 5.

    METRO's Erie facility is a 44 acre shipyard located on the sheltered waters of the Presque Isle Bay in Erie, PA. It has the longest U.S. dry dock on the Great Lakes and can accommodate ships up to 1250 feet in length with a maximum beam of 114 feet. The facility has over 200,000 square feet of production space, enabling raw material coming into the facility to be totally processed in an environmentally controlled production setting. There are 4,000 feet of pier space at the shipyard with full dockside services. The shipyard has excellent access to rail and U.S. interstate highway transportation.

Since 1990 ODESSOS Shiprepair yard has been working mainly for export, which forms 70 up to 90%. Besides the Bulgarian vessels, vessels from Greece, Germany, Turkey, Holland, USA, Italy, Russia, Cyprus, Ukraine, England, Georgia etc countries are being repaired. The Yard has a dry dock and two floating docks. The dry dock is equipped with a 30 tons crane, two 15 tons cranes and a 10 tons crane. Floating dock No. 2 has a lifting capacity up to 12 000 tons and is equipped with two 15 tons cranes. Floating dock No. 1 has a lifting capacity up to 4 100 and a 5 tons crane. The piers length is 1 200 m. It is equipped with 8 pieces 16 tons cranes.   • The Pequot River Shipworks was established in April of 1996, as a Limited Liability Corporation totally owned by the Mashantucket Tribal Nation. The Shipworks facility is located in the northern fabrication bays of the former Thames Valley Steel facility in New London, CT. These fabrication bays cover in excess of 41,000 square feet of floor space. Since this section of the building was initially built to support heavy steel assembly fabrication, it is well suited for the TriCat Construction with plenty of power, a good floor area for fabrication and fabrication support, overhead crane ways and the potential to revise the ceiling trusses to enable the fabrication of the entire TriCat in the building prior to roll out for launch. It is presently estimated that there is enough space in the two bays to start the fabrication of portions of the second TriCat prior to the roll out of the first TriCat so that these portions of the second vessel can be moved to the fabrication bay for final assembly as soon as the first vessel moves out.
