Yes, you might be able to download an MP3 faster on your 1.5Mbit cable than I can on a 256Kbps wireless connection, but I can surf more than three times as many websites in a given period of time. Basically, with the timing of iqWL2 and since our network is not oversubscribed, my data gets to me three times faster than yours does. This gives that 256Kbps Wireless connection a "seat-of-the-pants" snap that you usually will not get with cable or DSL. It is more expensive to provide our customers with low latency than it is to provide you with high bandwidth. Latency is where the rubber meets the road! Wireless technology has been around for a long time. The first radios were the early days of wireless. They were as big as TV sets are today and received signals from towers that were miles away from the receiver.
