Our Wireless Internet service uses Purelink Technologies (Clearwire's wireless access solution) to provide the connection, but the only bill you receive is from Southwest Cyberport. Purelink has a number ot towers around Albuquerque where the radio connection from your location goes. Clear line of sight to one of those towers is required. Usually if you aren't down in a hole or surrounded by trees you can get a good connection. Generally an antenna must be mounted on the roof of your building, and then a wire is run inside to the router. One of the distinguishing characteristics of the Wireless Internet service is that it can be installed in three to five days after your order. The Wireless Internet service is only available in two speeds, 128K and 256K. This service provides a full-time, but shared connection that can provide an effective connection for your email and basic web browsing for a small number of people. It is not suitable for hosting or demanding network loads.
